About
Work on the places where AI meets real responsibility.
Chen Friedman is an Israeli founder of Lawcal AI, focused on building useful, trustworthy systems for legal and professional environments globally.
I build and lead AI products for places where technology cannot remain a polished demo: legal work, regulatory workflows, and knowledge systems that need to work under real constraints.
My interest is not only what AI can do, but how it becomes infrastructure people across markets can understand, review, and rely on.
I’m a founder, builder, and father of two. That makes me prefer clarity over noise, execution over slogans, and tools that expand capability and access instead of adding complexity.

Operating principles
Trust before automation: first know what is allowed, what is risky, and what must be reviewed.
Global by default: useful AI products should travel across languages, jurisdictions, and markets.
Execution beats hype: value is measured by working products, not impressive slides.
High-trust systems need traceability, responsibility, and human review.
